Read this small newspaper clipping and then write a blog post about it. What are your thoughts? How does it make you feel? Do you agree? Disagree? Explain yourself.

I agree because I think that teenagers these days depend on technology and other people and I think this newspaper is a good lesson for teenagers for them to reevaluate their life and realize what they are doing with their life and how it'll benefit their life in the future. I think that if everyone read this article I think teenagers could respond with doing stuff that actually helps the community and other people instead of teenagers just thinking of themselves.

What is a Public Service Announcement? If you don't know what it is, Google it. In your own words, now tell me what it is? What are they used for? Can you recall an example of a PSA you've seen before?

A PSA is where you want to get an important message out into the public. It is normally a big issue that needs to be resolved. In computer class in 8th grade many people did their PSA's about drinking and driving, world hunger, abuse, and drugs.

After watching the short clip of Ashton Kutcher's acceptance speech what did you take away from his advice? What does this quote mean to you -"Everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you, and you can change it, you can influence it, you can build your own things that other people can use."

To me, this quote means that you could do anything you want to to change the world. The quote is saying that this world was created by people just like you so you can influence it to make it the world you want it to become. Also, it says that you can build your owns things that other people can use so you could make something powerful or great to help other people in the present and also in the future. By reading this quote I think it makes you rethink the world we live in and how people equally as smart or as powerful as me created our life so that means that I could change someone else's life by creating my own life not just following what everyone else's life. I think because of this quote Ashton Kutcher said and his speech in general probably changed the way people thought of their life and this speech probably inspired millions.
